Inside Your Personalized Session
"I have hired JoAnne for several photo shoots, and she has always done a fantastic job and delivered excellent final products (some of which were published in national magazines). She is professional, warm, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I look forward to hiring her for more jobs and highly recommend anyone with photography needs to do the same.

JoAnne's photos of our daughter were fantastic. JoAnne made Kristina feel special and beautiful during the session. We chose a portrait and a gorgeous photo collage for the graduation announcements that Kristina was proud to send. We'll work with JoAnne again.

Her strong personal commitment to excellence surpasses JoAnne’s skill. Working with her in two different environments, she created photography that captured the essence of the hardscape and the emotion behind it.

JoAnne is a fabulous photographer. In a portrait shoot, she is creative, intuitive, and patient. She makes her subject feel naturally at ease, and just as importantly, she makes the process fun! As a party photographer, she is simply great, and we can’t imagine any other photographer doing a better job. Our daughter's Sweet Sixteen included generations of family, friends, food, and fun – JoAnne captured it all. It was also an evening of non-stop dancing. JoAnne managed to record the high energy and spirit of a dance floor filled predominantly with 16-year-olds without ever being intrusive or making anyone feel like they were intrusively being photographed! Her fabulous work resulted in a collection of wonderful photographs that we and our daughter will treasure for years to come.

I will start off by saying that I hate having my picture taken, I avoid it like the plague, so deciding to have boudoir photos taken was not easy for me. JoAnne made the whole experience extremely relaxing and fun. I was nervous and felt tension when we started, but I could relax relatively quickly because she has a very kind and relaxed demeanor. She guided me without making me feel like I was doing something wrong. She helped make the whole process feel natural. I was thrilled once I saw the pictures; I feel like she captured who I am. And she helped me see parts of myself that I didn’t know existed. The whole experience was integral in helping me find my way back to myself.

JoAnne was the perfect photographer for our product shoot! She brought professionalism, creativity, and a fun energy to the session, diving right into the water to capture stunning, tack-sharp action shots of dogs swimming in our life vests. Her natural connection with dogs put them (and their owners) at ease, making the images even more special. If you need a photographer who goes the extra mile—literally into the ocean—for the perfect shot, JoAnne is the one!

My session fee is $1,250. What you’re really investing in is time—time to pause, to reflect, to show up fully as yourself. This experience is designed with thought and care, from the first conversation to the final image. You’ll walk away with more than photos—you’ll leave with a deeper connection to who you are and a reminder of what matters most.
This Is Where You Say Yes !
My journey here hasn’t been linear. Raised by a loving but mentally ill mother, I stepped into the role of caretaker early on, learning how to hold space for others before I knew how to do it for myself. I’ve navigated addiction, sought worth in all the wrong places, and come through eleven years of sobriety with a deeper understanding of what healing looks like—it’s not about erasing the past, but softening it.
Photography started as a hobby, and I didn't know a thing about the technical aspects. I just picked up my old dusty camera and started taking pictures. But it wasn’t until I began listening—truly listening to and feeling how my body was responding to being behind the lens and to the people in front of my lens—that I realized the most powerful images aren’t about perfection. They’re about presence.
Now, I hold space for women to show up as they are—whether healing, celebrating, rebuilding, or simply craving something that feels real. You can be bold, quiet, nervous, joyful, or all of the above. I’ll meet you there. Because sometimes the most beautiful thing isn’t the image itself—it’s how you feel when you finally see yourself in it.
Write about yourself right here & what you have to offer to your visitors. Use absolutely no pressure. And maybe, maybe, maybe... Exercising the imagination, being creative. If what you're doing doesn't make. Let your imagination be your guide. Let all these little things happen. Don't fight them. Just make a decision and let it go.
Learn to use them. I thought today we would make a happy little stream that's just running through the woods here. A beautiful little sunset.
Thinking about booking a session? Amazing. Just have a few questions? That’s great too. Share what you’re dreaming of, celebrating, or even what’s holding you back. Not sure what you want yet? That’s okay—we’ll figure it out together.
I’ll respond in a couple of days, unless I’m out photographing wild joy (aka on a shoot).
If you're feeling unsure, reach out anyway. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
